While an about is a great page to describe myself, my pronouns, and what I’m like, this isn’t the page I choose to display those on. This is a page talking about why I have a website and why I chose my username and how I go by on the internet.

How did I get the name "OSoGlitchy"
In 2021, one of my favorite games was a MTA New York City Subway simulator and other battle games on Roblox. During this time, I only had a very old, and very slow chromebook to use, like barely even 4gb of RAM on the system and the Google Chromebook OS made to run on stuff like phones and tablets, honestly it was terrible. Never buy a Chromebook.
Now, at some point in the subway simulator game, and leading up to that in different fighting games it had come to the point that I would start using the low frames and high ping to my advantage and ended up being able to win more by being glitchy, very. So at some point in late 2021, I was driving a train with more than 4000 ping, which with moving vehicles, causes the vehicle acceleration to be really really slow, and so there was a train that ended up in front of me. Well because i was so glitchy I rammed right into that train, but instead of derailing or anything, my train popped on top of the other train, somehow glided the roof, and then landed right back onto the rails in perfect alignment right after.
In that moment you can imagine, a younger me, and the excitement at the sheer feat I just pulled off, and after that point on, I have been known as Glitchy, or later expanded to be more unique and because of constantly saying it “im oh so glitchy”: OSoGlitchy. Now you know how I got the name!
Why do I use "OSoGlitchy" everywhere?
Now as a chronically online person, I have never understood why people have different names for any platform or site they use. Sure it’s harder for data brokers and hackers to track you, but it’s also harder to share with friends, especially recognition.
For me, I choose to take the username “OSoGlitchy” on any website, simply because it is my own unique username, and as of yet, no one else has ever claimed to use this title. Especially in a world with 7 billion+ humans who use the internet, this is the one string of 10 characters that can be uniquely mine.
Seeing that this name is uniquely mine, I like to have people be able to find me easier and connect/network to me through my social medias and platforms and stay the only owner and user of this name by using the same username everywhere.
Why I choose to not use free sites like Carrd.com or linktr.ee to make my website?
Now I used to think Carrd and Link Tree were great sites for making websites! I had even gotten Carrd premium just so I wouldn’t have to have branding on my carrd page all the time.
That was until I realized, even though they are amazing sites, they are single page hosts. And for most people that’s absolutely great to use if you’re not looking for anything crazy large scale, especially most people like smaller furry artist and just generally having a place for keeping your social links together for quick and easy access.
If you haven’t been able to tell yet, however, I have had way more ambitious ideas of putting stuff on the internet rather than a social link list or sharing small stuff. NO. I wanted to go big! Including my Fictional Roblox Company.
Turns out I actually have a really amazing friend by the name of Moontail who recommended me my current host, and even still offers advice and help designing and putting stuff onto my website. (Love you Moony, you’re the best, but please stop yelling at me ;-; /joking)
WordPress + Elementor I would definitely recommend to anyone else who want to do more ambitious projects, than just single pages of stuff, it’s been a really nice and seamless-ish time building my website and honestly very smooth and lost of customizations I barely even knew existed! The only thing about WordPress is in basic cases, you have to pay for WordPress + Domain + Web Hosting which all together could get pricey, but also in lighter cases, wordpress may come with your webhosting bundle, so it’s less that you have pay yearly for all this! 😀
